The optical color sorter line offered by Satake is well proven in the coffee industry. The equipment is currently sorting arabica and robusta varieties throughout the industry increasing the value of these products by removing such contaminants as: reds, slightly mottled, yellows, insect damage, blacks and spotted. Typically the ScanMaster IE is used for Robusta and the ScanMaster DE is used to sort Arabica.
